The TSJ/ILS Titans brought home three more victories this week as they defeated St. Mark Steeleville, Hoyleton, and Willow Grove.
The Titans began the week with a 61-45 win over St. Mark Steeleville on December 5. TSJ/ILS outscored St. Mark Steeleville 16-9 in the first quarter, and 15-10 in the second to take a commanding 31-19 halftime lead. The Titans put the game away for good in the third as they outscored St. Mark Steeleville 24-7. The Titans would cruise to victory in the fourth.
Caleb Unverfehrt led the way with 22 points, one of three Titans’ players in double figures. Boomer Harris added 17 points, followed by Mason Meyer with 10 points. Tyler Schill scored eight points, while Ashton McGranahan and Dillon Teter each scored two points.
The Titans next matchup was a blowout. The Titans defeated Hoyleton 73-18 on December 6.The Titans outscored Hoyleton 40-16 in the first half, and 19-0 in the third quarter. In the fourth the Titans outscored the Thunderbolts 14-2 to go on to victory.
The Titans were led by Unverfehrt and Harris, who each scored 17 points in the win. Meyer added 15 points, followed by Teter with eight points. Schill scored six points, while McGranahan scored four points. Dominic Perry, Evan Perry and Jack Krueger each scored two points in the game.
The Titans last game of the week was a 39-32 win over Willow Grove on December 12. Scoring for the Titans was Harris with 14 points, Meyer with 12 points, Unverfehrt with nine points, Schill with two points, and McGranahan with two points.
