Dakota R. Ellerbusch

Dakota Ellerbusch of Ashley, formerly of Okawville, departed this life in Okawville on Sunday, January 1, 2017. He had attained the age of 18 years, 9 months and 12 days.

Dakota was born in Belleville, on March 20, 1998 the son of Ryan Ellerbusch and Kelly Dickerson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Olive Branch Lutheran Church in Okawville.

Dakota attended Okawville High School and was a life-long member of the Olive Branch Lutheran Church.

Left to mourn his passing is his father, Ryan Ellerbusch and wife Jessica of Springfield, Mo.; his mother, Kelly Dickerson and fiancé Thomas Armer of Ashley; five brothers and sisters, Keely Wilson of Fayetteville, and Cheyenne, Braden, Payton and Aaliyah Ellerbusch all of Springfield, Mo.; paternal grandparents, John and Vicky Ellerbusch of Okawville; his maternal grandfather; two great grandparents; a special uncle; numerous other aunts, uncles, great aunts and great uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews as well as many friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, and his great grandfather.

Funeral services will be held from the Campagna Funeral Home in Okawville on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 3 P.M. with Pastor Art Eichhorn officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Branch Lutheran Cemetery in Okawville.

Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Okawville on Thursday from 1 P.M. until 3 P.M.
