The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Addieville for a civil matter.

January 1

Randall L.R. Schneider, 38 of Okawville, was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for Domestic Battery.

The body of Dakota Ellerbusch, 18 of Okawville, was discovered at a cabin in rural Okawville. The Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the events which led to his death.

December 31

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a report of Criminal Damage To Property in rural Addieville.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on Interstate 64 near mile marker 44. Nashville Fire Department and Washington County Ambulance also responded. Illinois State Police handled the Accident.

December 30

Taylor R. Prange, 18 of Nashville, was driving a 1993 Ford Ranger when the vehicle left the roadway striking a guide wire on Black Diamond Road near Nixon Road. No injuries were reported. Prange was issued a citation for Failure to Report Accident to Police Authority.

Dustin A. Atteberry, 27 of Richview, was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for Reckless Driving, Fleeing and Eluding, Driving While License Suspended, Resisting a Peace Officer, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis, Unlawful Delivery of Cannabis, and Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to Richview for a report of Suspicious Activity.

Washington County Sheriff Deputies assisted the Illinois State Police with a two vehicle accident in Richview.

Sheriff Bradac conducted a motorist assist on US Highway 51just North of St. Rt. 15. Vehicle was unoccupied and off the roadway.

December 29

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a residence in rural Richview for suspicious activity.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Adam D. Robinson, 35 of Trenton for a Washington County warrant

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Michael J. Piechoinski, 46 of Nashville for a Washington County warrant.

A Washington County deputy took a report of harassment by electronic communication.

December 28

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported a Runaway from the Hoyleton Children’s Home.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported Suspicious Activity at the Ashley Grade School.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested James R. Vuichard, 37, of Sparta, IL for Driving While License Suspended. James was also cited for expired registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took a report of suspicious activity on Arizona Road.

A Washington County deputy took a fraud report from a resident of Hoyelton, IL.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took a report of an Abandoned Vehicle on Nebraska Road.

December 27

Misty D. McFadden, 41 of Sparta, was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for a Warrant.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office investigated a suspicious vehicle at the U.S. Highway 51 Commuter Parking Lot.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a single vehicle accident on County Highway 27 at County Highway 1. A vehicle driven by Mitchell Engele, 32 of Nashville, ran off the roadway and caused damage to his vehicle. No injuries were reported.
