Steve and Gina Droege were guests at the home of Stanley and Ora Mae Droege for dinner after Christmas Eve Services. Santa made an extra special appearance at the Droege home.
Gina Droege was among family on Christmas Day at the home of Ed and Laura Paszkiewicz, hosted by Paula and Dennis Sherman.
Howard and Cindy McHenry arrived in the area Christmas Day, they returned home to Columbia, MO on Friday
Santa made his annual visit to all the good boys and girls and some adults, in the Venedy area, during the Christmas Holidays.
On Monday, David Droege lent his services to his grandmother, Ora Mae Droege, installing her Christmas present and to his father, Steve, helping to set up a shed.
Stanley Droege and Brian and Susan Wisneski were dinner guests of Howard and Cindy McHenry Monday evening.
Ryan Droege of Cape Girardeau, MO arrived at the home of his parents, Steve and Gina Droege, Tuesday evening. On Wednesday he lent his services to his father, Steve
Some area residents attended the basketball games at the Mater Dei Christmas Tournament and the Mascoutah Girl’s Invitational Tournament.
Steve and Gina Droege attended an exciting St Louis Blues vs Philadelphia Flyers hockey game at Scottrade Center Wednesday evening. Blues scored 4 goals in the 3rd period to win 6 – 3.
Some area residents began the New Year attending the Okawville Community Club Dance on New Year’s Day.
Steve Droege and Susan Wisneski attended the 2017 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic at Busch Stadium in St Louis on Monday January 2nd between the St. Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks. Steve also attended the Alumni Game on Saturday, December 31st, with Logan Wagoner.
