WCVW Had A Fun-Filled Christmas Party

On December 22nd, the clients at WCVW had their annual Christmas party. On this day they attend a half-day for fun, food and fellowship. No work!

A special thank you to Alice and Jim Hale (parents). They donated their time to play music and lead a Sing-a-long for the clients. Christmas Bingo and Pass the Present games were then played by the clients and guests. A yummy snack of pizza and soda was enjoyed by all. A special thanks to Judy and Charlie Vogt (parents) for purchasing our pizzas this year. Casey’s gave us a discounted price. Delicious homemade cookies and candies were donated by Julia Karmeier (parent) for our sweet treats. Cookies were also purchased from Eats and Treats, a new bakery in Okawville. A special visit by Santa Claus (Jim Rabe/former employee) livened up the affair. The clients always enjoy seeing the man in red and receiving a gift from him. The American Legion had donated $100 after their annual Election Day Spaghetti supper to assist the workshop with purchasing gifts. Money from our aluminum can fund was also used in purchasing gifts.

On behalf of Washington County Vocational Workshop I would like to thank all who donated time or money to help make this a wonderful time for the clients.
