Mark you calendar, St. Salvator Lutheran Church will be celebrating their 175th Anniversary this year. Their first Special Service will be April 30th. It is the Confirmation Remembrance. Guest speaker will be Professor Tim Saleska of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO. He is a grandson of a former Pastor of St. Salvator. Immanuel Lutheran School Choir will sing and a reception will be held following the Service.
St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Okawville Wurst Markt will be held February 12, 2017, 3 – 7 PM in the Educational Building.
St. John’s U.C.C Johannisburg Annual Church Meeting was held Sunday afternoon. Church Board members are Dan Koenigstein, Linda Blumhorst, Barb Doelling, Gina Droege, Terry Krewinghaus and Bob Meier. Cemetery Board members are Candace Doelling, Geri Doelling and Steve Droege.

Pastor Jeff Schwab, pastor at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Okawville, brought his Confirmands to tour St. John’s United Church of Christ, Johannisburg Wednesday evening. They also visited at St. Paul’s U.C.C. White Church.
On Tuesday evening, Steve and Gina Droege attended the St. Louis Blues – Ottawa Senators disappointing Hockey game at Scottrade Center.
Stanley and Ora Mae Droege visited Thursday afternoon with Melva Doelling.
Family and Friends gathered at Little Nashville Saturday evening in honor of the Birthday of Laura Paszkiewicz, which was actually January 8.

Josh and Tonya Koenigstein and Elaina, Arlene Yerby and Stacy Yerby were guests at the home of Dan and Christy Koenigstein over the week-end and they all attended Evie Koenigstein’s third Birthday, she is the daughter of Craig and Braidy Koenigstein, at Roland Barkau Memorial Golf Course on Sunday evening.
The Washington County United Church of Christ Clergy lunch was at noon Wednesday at Trenton House in Trenton.
