Can’t believe it’s February already.

The Addieville Community Club will have a fish fry every Friday night in February and March from 5 to 8 pm.

Dennis and Shirley Haake of Frankfort visited here two weekends ago for Shirley’s mother Selma Steinkamp’s birthday and they also sold their Nashville home.  They also visited with relatives and friends.

Ken and JoAnn Harvey became great grandparents for the second time.  Luna Annaliese was born January 27 to the Harvey’s granddaughter Macy and friend who live in Kentucky.

Zion church held their annual meeting on Sunday after worship.   Elected to the church council was Ronda Groennert.  Cyndi Picard was the retiring council member.  Jim Lehde was elected to the Cemetery Board.

Zion church played Dartball three times this past weekend.  New Athens UCC came here on Friday evening.  On Sunday Zion played a double header at St John UCC, Plum Hill.

The Nick Rennegarbe Annual Trivia night hosted by the Addieville Fire Department was a packed house on Saturday night.  The proceeds from this event goes toward training and equipment.
