After breaking the single-season three point record earlier this season, Nashville Hornettes junior Paige Kasten has broken another record. Kasten broke the career record for three point field goals in the first quarter of the Hornettes Regional Semi-Final win over Sparta.
Currently Kasten has 179 three point baskets in her career, which broke the record held by Jordi Harre. Harre made 175 three point baskets between 2011-15.
After the game, Kasten said she wasn’t thinking about the record. “With the postseason especially we need to keep winning, and that all I was worried about tonight was making sure we keep winning and playing as a team.
The Hornettes won the Regional Championship and begin play in the Sectional against Harrisburg on February 14.
