Beckmeyers Celebrating 70 Years Of Marriage

Roland and Merle (Byars) Beckmeyer of Hoyleton will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, February 22. They were married at the First Baptist Church in Centralia by Reverend Louis W. Bean.  Phyllis (Maddox) Logan was Matron of Honor and Leonard Weber was best man. The couple met while attending Centralia High School.  Merle is the daughter of the late Harriet and Everett Byers of Centralia.  Roland is the son of the late Louise and Alvin Beckmeyer of Hoyleton.
Roland and Merle’s family include their son Mark and wife Deborah, granddaughter Annamarie Beckmeyer, and step-grandsons, Joshua and Jesse Pokojski.
