FFA Alumni Hold Second Annual Porksteak Supper Fundraiser

The Nashville FFA Alumni had their second annual porksteak dinner fund raiser, at the Nashville Community High School cafeteria on Saturday, February 11. Guests got a porksteak, baked potato, slaw, baked beans, drink, dessert and of course, plenty of conversation and company. With the FFA soon-to-be-built greenhouse now funded and ready to go, this supper’s proceeds will go towards one main thing: student scholarships. Right now, many FFA students are able to head onto college with at least some scholarship money helping to pay the way. In the future, with the aid of events like this one, NCHS FFA Advisor Julie Bond-Ledford hopes that every graduating NCHS FFA student will be able to have at least some scholarship money.
