Police Report – March 1, 2017
February 20
The Nashville Police Department responded to N. Grand Ave. at W. Maple St. for a suspicious vehicle.
Officers responded to the 400 block of E. Adams St. for a domestic dispute.
Police responded to the 400 block of E. St. Louis St. for an animal complaint.
Officers responded to the 300 block of W. Maple St. for disorderly conduct.
Police responded to the 200 block of N. Bryan St. for a disturbance.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. Police subsequently arrested the driver, Bryant Nolan, of Mill Creek, for driving while license revoked. Bryant was also issued a traffic citation for operating uninsured vehicle and civil citations for unlawful possession of cannabis and for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bryant was also issued a verbal warning for defective windshield. Bryant was taken to the Washington County Jail for the arrest.
February 21
Police responded to the 700 block of E. Holzhauer Dr. for an unruly subject.
Officers responded to the 700 block of S. Grand Ave. for a domestic dispute.
Police responded to the 400 block of S. Friendship Dr. for a battery.
Officers executed an arrest warrant on Taylor Karch of Nashville for failing to appear for court. Taylor was transported to the WCSO without incident.
Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. Police made contact with the driver, April Wilkinson, of Granite City, as well as three passengers. Police conducted a search of the vehicle after an odor of cannabis was present. Police subsequently arrested a passenger, Robert Spratley Jr., of Granite City, for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and for unlawful possession cannabis. April was issued a verbal warning for failure to signal. Robert was taken to the Washington County Jail and placed on a felony hold.
Officers assisted the Illinois State Police with a three car accident and one vehicle on fire.
February 22
Police responded to S. Grand Ave. at W. Chester St. for a suspicious vehicle.
Officers responded to the 900 block of W. St. Louis St. for harassment.
Police responded to the 600 block of E. Lebanon St. for a 911 hang-up call.
Officers responded to the 400 block of E. Adams St. for a welfare check.
Police responded to the 100 block of E. David Dr. for a domestic disturbance.
Officers responded to the 400 block of E. Maple St. for an unruly subject.
Police assisted the Washington County Jail Staff with an unruly inmate.
February 23
Officers responded to the 200 block of N. Bryan St. for a property exchange.
February 24
Police responded to the 500 block of N. Washington St. for a theft.
Officers responded to the 500 block of S. Wood St. for a welfare check.
Police responded to the 1700 block of W. Heathwood Dr. for identity theft.
Officers responded to the 1600 block of W. Willowbrook Dr. for an open door.
Police responded to the 800 block of S. Broadway St. for a domestic dispute.
Officers responded to I-64 to assist other agencies with a report of a subject pointing a gun at an off-duty police officer that occurred at mile marker 55 westbound. Police assisted in stopping the vehicle at mile marker 39 and the suspect was taken into custody. Police then cleared from the scene after everything was secure.
February 25
Police responded to the 100 block of E. St. Louis St. for a break in.
Officers issued Brittny Kueker of two citations, first citation was for failing to stop at a stop sign. Second citation was for operating uninsured motor vehicle. Brittny also had a warrant for her arrest from St. Clair County. Brittny was taken to the WCJ without incident.
Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. Police conducted a search of the vehicle after Nashville PD’s K-9 alerted on the vehicle for narcotics. Police subsequently arrested the driver, Brandon Brooks, of Carbondale, for unlawful possession of cannabis and for unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver. Brandon was also issued a citation for speeding. Police also arrested the passenger, Acacia Watson, of Carbondale, for unlawful possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon (a loaded handgun), unlawful possession of a firearm, and a traffic citation for illegal transportation of alcohol. Both subjects were taken to the Washington County Jail where they were placed on a felony hold.
February 26
Officers responded to the 100 block of N. Mill St. for lost property.
Police issued three citations to Erik Mays of Covington. First citation was for failing to wear seat belt. Second citation was for operating uninsured motor vehicle. Third citation was for driving while license suspended. Erik was taken to the WCJ without incident.
Officers issued Eric Keck of Bluford numerous traffic citations. Eric was also placed under arrest for driving while his license was revoked, and also for unlawfully possessing a counterfeit Illinois license plate. Eric was transported to the WCJ without incident.
Police observed a vehicle parked partially in the northbound lane. The vehicle appeared inoperable. The vehicle was towed by A&C Towing due to it being a hazard in the roadway.
