Sheriff’s Report – March 1, 2017

February 26

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Washington County Ambulance, and Ashley Fire Department responded to Richview for a report of a medical emergency.

February 25

Francisco J. Abatos-Hurtado, 35 of Centralia, was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for No Valid Driver’s License and Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded with Illinois State Police to a report of domestic trouble in rural Oakdale.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a motorist assist on Washington County Line Rd at New Marigold Rd in Clarmin.

February 24

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Nashville Police Department, Okawville Police Department assisted the Illinois State Police on Interstate 64 near the 40 mile marker for a report of a man brandishing a handgun at other motorists.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle on Jimtown Road near State Route 153.

A Washington County Deputy arrested Harlis R. Moulton, 38 of Kell, IL for driving while revoked and he was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.  Moulton was also given a verbal warning for improper display of registration/no front license plate.

February 23

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to Interstate 64 for a report of a grass fire.

James R. Vuichard, 37 from Tilden was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for a Washington County warrant.

February 22

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a disturbance at a residence in Addieville.  David V. Lilly, 55 of Trenton was arrested for Battery.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported Melanie D. Kempfer, 44 of Centralia, IL drove her vehicle off the roadway and struck a ditch near Radom, IL. No injuries reported.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Illinois State Police with a vehicle fire on I64 near the 48 mile marker.
