Jr. Hornettes Finish Regular Season

The Nashville Middle School Jr. Hornettes finished out the regular season, this past week as the split matchups against TSJ and Sparta. The Jr. Hornettes defeated TSJ on March 13, before dropping their final game of the regular season to Sparta on March 14.
On March 13, it was a sweep for the Jr. Hornettes as the A-team, B-team, and C-team all picked up wins over TSJ. The A-team defeated TSJ in two close games as the Jr. Hornettes took game one 28-26, before taking game two 25-22. Whitley Hunter led the team with five aces, and two kills, while Reagen Burke finished with one block in the win.
The B-team also picked up the win in just two games. The Jr. Hornettes took game one 25-19 before taking game two 25-23. Daphne Kollbaum and Emma Eberhart each had three kills apiece in the win, while Emme Paszkiewicz finished with five aces to lead Nashville.
The C-team made it a clean sweep for the Jr. Hornettes as they took game one 25-19, and game two 25-22. Jill Kuhl and Korbi Rhine each had four aces in the win, while Eberhart finished with two kills.
In the final game of the regular season, the Jr. Hornettes took on Sparta on March 14. The Jr. Hornettes A-team lost the match in two games, as Sparta took game one 25-13, before taking game two 25-16. Samantha Edwards and Burke each finished with three kills in the loss.
The B-team also lost in two games, as Sparta took game one 25-20 and game two 25-16. Paszkiewicz finished with four kills, while Hailey Baugh finished with two aces.
The C-team also dropped two games to Sparta 20-13, and 16-13. Daci Finke had two kills, while Valerie Combs finished with two aces.
