Hazel Waeltz
Hazel May “Nut” Waeltz, 96, of Nashville, passed away at 8:02 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Friendship Manor Health Center in Nashville.
She was born on July 15, 1921, in Nashville, the daughter of Arthur J. and Lizzie Sophie Meyer La Marr.
She married Marvin Waeltz on September 16,1972 in Belleville and he passed away on December 9, 1994. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Left to mourn her passing is a son, Benny Ceglinski and wife Aleta of Woodlawn; a daughter, Frances Ann Jett and husband Darrell of Stonefort; four grandchildren, Eric and Benjamin Ceglinski and Jimmy and Danny Ray; along with six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Waeltz attended St. Paul United Church of Christ in Nashville and retired as a Certified Nurses Aid at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Greenwood Cemetery in Nashville with Rev. Bev Kahle officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Manor Health Center.
