Hi, it’s Becki from Nashville Grade School with the events for grades K-4 for the week of April 24– April 28.
Mark your calendar for Sunday, April 23rd. The Harlem Wizards will be in town to play our Vintage Nashville Hornets. The Vintage Hornets will feature our very own Mr. Reinburg, Mr. Cruser, Mrs. Moore, and Mr. Finke. All the fun will be at the NCHS Assembly Hall at 6:00pm.
Happy Volunteers week! A sincere thank you goes out to all of our volunteers, we couldn’t do all we do without you!
Yearbook Sales begin this week, watch your child’s backpack for more information! Yearbooks will be delivered next fall.
PARCC testing begins for our third and fourth grade students on Tuesday, April 25. As we know you will, please be sure your child is at school each day, having a good night’s sleep and a yummy breakfast each morning!
On Thursday, April 27 our third grade class will enjoy a field trip to Myseum in Town & Country, MO. Students will enjoy Interactive science activities such as archaeological digging & making music from random objects.
Friday, April 28 is Hats Off to Cancer Day. Have your child bring in $1.00 to wear a hat to school. All funds raised support the Relay for Life!
The end of the school year is fast approaching, please be sure all fees are paid and lunch accounts are current. Grade cards will be held in the office for students owing on their lunch accounts, fee accounts, library accounts, and Jr. Hornet accounts. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the school office. Any positive balances will be held over for next school year.
Looking ahead:
Our Grandparent’s Day Program will be Friday, May 5 at 1:30 in the afternoon followed by room visits.
Eighth Grade Graduation will be Friday, May 12 at 7:00pm.
Our Primary School Kick Off To Summer morning will be Monday, May 15. Volunteers will be needed for this morning, more information will be coming soon.
Wednesday, May 17 is a 2:10 dismissal day.
Thursday, May 18 is Kindergarten Graduation and our Primary School Awards Assembly at 10:30am. May 18 is also our last day of school with an 11:30 dismissal. There will NOT be Jr. Hornets on the last day of school.
Registration for the 2017-2018 school year will be Wednesday, July 19. Open House for the 2017-2018 school year will be Thursday, August 10, and the first day of school for the 2017-2018 school year is Monday, August 14.
