    Rain, Rain, Rain was the news story this past week.   At this writing early Sunday evening, my rain gauge had 9 ½ inches since Wednesday.

Remember clean up dates at the Addieville Community Club park Thursday, May 4 at 6:30 pm and Saturday, May 6 at 8 am.  Please bring rakes, blowers, etc.  Help the club make our park nice for the children to play.

Happy Birthday to Marie Rybacki.  Marie celebrated her 90th birthday with her family on Sunday.

Vicky Buss and Darlene Ostendorf attended Ladies Roller Derby on Saturday at Belleville Fairgrounds.  Dana Karch was also attending with friends.  All first time watchers of this action packed sport.
