At the Washington County Historical Society’s annual dinner, held on Thursday, April 27, at the Oakdale Country Kitchen, the Historical Society presented a plaque to St. Michael the Archangel Church in Radom, recognizing the church’s historical significance in the county.

The plaque states that the parish was founded in 1873, the first church was built in 1874, and that the present church, the significant landmark of Radom, was completed in 1924.

Accepting the plaque on behalf of the church was Father Oliver Nwachukwu, PhD, Parish Priest, who was accompanied by Parish Trustees Marvin Winka and Jerry Watters, and Parish President Craig Ratermann.
