Fire Department Puts Out Smoking Car At Kroger Lot
By Alex Haglund
The Nashville Fire Protection District and other area emergency personnel responded to the Nashville Kroger parking lot for a car fire at approximately 10 a.m. Thursday, May 11.
While the flames were extinguished before the firetruck arrived (other firefighters had already been at the scene), bystanders watched as steam billowed out when firefighters hosed down the vehicle’s engine compartment, ensuring that there were no hot spots to flare back up.
