A Great Place For A Good Book – Sierra’s Little Library And New Children’s Section Unveiled At Nashville Public Library

By Alex Haglund

Friday, May 5, was the official unveiling celebration for the newly remodeled children’s section at the Nashville Public Library, “Sierra’s Little Ray Of Sunshine,” named for Sierra Wilder, whose name, BELOW, is embroidered on “the stump”, a cozy reading nook being used by Johnathan Bronke, ABOVE. More than just a quiet time to read though, Friday night was family-friendly event, with Clifford the Big Red Dog giving out hugs, plenty of stories being read to kids, including some by Mother Goose, snacks, cookies and refreshments, arts and crafts, and even balloon animals. A lot of work and fundraising went into the new children’s area, and hopefully, kids can enjoy themselves there, have some fun, or just lose themselves in a really good book.
