Corrections – May 17, 2017

In the Community Calendar on Page A4 of the May 10, 2017 edition of The Nashville News, the NCHS Board meeting was listed as occurring on the evening of Monday, May 15. While NCHS board meeting’s are typically held on the third Monday of each month, the May meeting will be held on Monday, May 22, to allow a full month to pass with the final tentative amended budget of the year available to be viewed at the district office before a budget hearing is held prior to the June board meeting, the last of the Fiscal Year. This week’s Community Calendar will reflect this change.

On Page B8 of the May 10, 2017 edition of The Nashville News, the photo titled “Szopinski, Hausner Catch Grand Prizes In Kids Fishing Derby” was inaccurate. After Szopinski and Hausner were declared the winners of the fishing derby, others with larger fish came forward and in the end, the derby sponsors declared a tie. For more information, see the photo on Page A8 of today’s paper.
