Marjorie (Luebke) Althoff

Marjorie (Luebke) Althoff of Wauwatosa, Wisc., formerly of Nashville, died peacefully in her home at Harwood Place in Wauwatosa, Wisc., on March 30, 2017. She had attained the age of 92 years, 11 months and 21 days.

Mrs. Althoff was born on April 9, 1924 in Nashville, the daughter of Richard and Laura (Luke) Luebke. Marjorie was united in marriage to George Althoff on June 9, 1946 and was married for 65 years until his passing on April 2, 2011.

Marge was born and raised in Nashville. She and George moved many times during their marriage and always returned to Nashville to visit family and friends.

Marjorie is survived by a daughter Darcia Behrens, of Wauwatosa, Wisc., and grandson Jeff Behrens, New York City.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, husband and aunt.

Graveside services will be held at the St. Paul United Church of Christ Cemetery in Nashville on Saturday June 17 at 11:00 am., with Rev. Bev Kahle officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
