Busy, Busy Band

The NCHS Music Department and band are having a pretty busy week.

On Monday, May 22, the NCHS board approved an out-of-state field trip for the band on Tuesday, May 30, when NCHS student musicians headed to Busch Stadium to perform the National Anthem there before the Cardinals game.

The NCHS Music Boosters helped to make the trip possible by paying for buses and fuel for the trip.

Other  recent and upcoming activities by NCHS student musicians include:

• Playing graduation, Sunday, May 28

• Playing Nashville Memorial Day observances, Monday, May 29

• The Cards game, Tuesday, May 30

• Kicking off the Washington County Arts Council’s summer concert series, Thursday, June 1, at the pavilion across the creek, Memorial Park.

If you’re looking for something to do this Thursday and spending an evening in the park in late spring sound like a good time, head out there for a start time of 6 p.m.
