Hornets Bass Fishing Team Competes At State

After weather postponed the IHSA Bass Fishing State Finals, the Hornets Bass Fishing team finally got on the water at Carlyle Lake on June 14 and June 15.

The Hornets had one boat in the State Finals, manned by Tanner McFeron and Jake Kwiatowski.

The Hornets caught one fish on the first day of competition, weighing in at one pound. On the second day of competition, the Hornets brought in two fish. The two fish on day two of competition weighed in at 2 4/16 pounds, giving Nashville a total weight of 3 4/16 for the State Finals.

The Hornets finished in 33rd position.
