Frankie’s On The Hill, the upscale dining establishment owned by Frank Bartolotta, of Girolamo’s, will be reopening after an extended closure on Friday, July 7, with Mark Allen and Travis Kennedy bringing diners various flavors from around the world out of the kitchen.

Bartolotta is excited about the reopening and the culinary opportunities it will afford area diners.

“Our goal is to have a different theme every day,” said Bartolotta. “You come in Tuesday and it might be French day, or German, or Cajun.”

Allen, Bartolotta says, “is very passionate about this food,” and adds that examples for say, German day, might be a special of sauerbraten and dumplings with red cabbage and apples. Polish night might be kielbasa and cabbage, skillet potatoes with mustard and vinegar, and golabki.

Frankie’s will now have lunch hours and a lunch menu as well, complete with sandwiches and burgers – and Bartolotta says that for every burger sold, $1 will be donated to the school.

Bar service, complete with happy hour specials will be a new focus too.

Something that the Bartolotta’s wished to let prospective diners know is that, while the food and drinks are upscale,

Frankie’s isn’t meant to be uptight. There’s no dress code, and people don’t need to worry about coming in a nice clothes as much as they need to worry about bringing their appetites.

“We want people to come in here, relax,” said Bartolotta, and most importantly, “enjoy themselves and enjoy the delicious food and drinks we’ll be serving them.”
