John R. Miller, Sr.

 

John R. Miller, Sr., 83,of Festus, Mo., formerly of Coulterville, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017.

He was the beloved husband of the late Juanita Miller; father of John R. (Debbie) Miller, Jr., Debra (the late Larry) Moore, Sr., Cindy (the late Frank) Schmersahl and Susan (Mike) Presswood; brother of Patricia (Larry) VanMeter, and the late Stanley E. Miller Sr.; brother-in-law of Betty (Pete) Rizos and Joyce (Bill) Chartrand; grandfather of John III, Jamie, Larry Jr., Christina, Geri, Amber, Anthony, Colin, Jake, Bradley, Melissa, Jonathan, Joshua, Timothy and Joseph; great grandfather of Cameron, Mackenzie, Chase, Andrea, Angela, Kele, Shane, Sophia, Lexi, Kaylee, Mickey, Lacie, Maecie and Otto; dear uncle, cousin and friend of many.

John’s had many occupations, but his most common were being a laborer and farmer.

A visitation was held at Fey Funeral Home in St. Louis, Mo., on Thursday, June 29 from 4-8 pm.

Service were held on on Friday, June 30 at 9:30 am, then to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to American Diabetes Association.
