NCHS Summer Baseball Defeats Sparta

As the summer schedule for the Hornets summer baseball team winds down, Nashville finished up their last road game of the season with a 15-0 win over Sparta on July 7. Nashville scored early and often, easily taking the victory.

Nashville took control early with two runs in the first inning followed up by six runs in the second. Nashville added two more in the third inning before putting up five runs in the fourth inning of play to defeat the Bulldogs 15-0.

Eleven different players scored a run for Nashville in the win. Kelton Harre led the way with three hits, and three runs scored. Carson Parker and Tanner Bergmann each finished with two hits and a run scored in the win. Alex Wuebbles hit a home run in the win while Bryce Bultman, and Todd Jahnke had a hit and two runs in the game. Cameron Parker, Jacob Rounds, JD Schubert, and Dillon Herrmann each had a hit and a run scored in the win while Lane Henderson scored a run for Nashville. Terry Pelczynski pitched all five innings for Nashville in the win.
