Nashville Jr. Golf Tournament
The Nashville Jr. Golf Tournament was held on Thursday July 13 at Nashville Muncipal Golf Course. Eight different age groups competed in the tournament.
The boys and girls in the 16-18 age group and the 14-15 age group each played 18 holes while competitors in the 12-13 age group and the 10-11 age group each played nine holes. Competitors in the 8-9 age group played five holes.
Medals were handed out to athletes who finished in the top two of their age groups.

- Chloe Thomas and Kelsey Sinks both of Marion were the top finishers in the girls 14-15 age group. Thomas took home first with a score of 47, while Sinks finished second with a score of 54.
- In the boys 10-11 age group, Abe Neal of McLeansboro finished in first place with a score of 45. Owen Moss of Breese and Josiah Jones of Sparta tied for second with a score of 50 through nine holes.

- In the girls 12-13 age group, Mady Young of Mt. Carmal took first place with a score of 47. Paige Compardo of Murphysboro took home second with a score of 58.
- The boys 14-15 age group was won by Grant Goebel of Breese with a 35. Ty Barbe of Carmi finished a close second with a score of 39.
- In the 8-9 age group, Bennett Moss of Breese took home first place in the boys division with a 33 through five holes of place. In the girls division, Brynn Stiegmann of Nashville took home first place, also shooting a 33.
- In the boys 16-18 age group, Aven Kimmell of Flora took home the win with a 75, 13 strokes ahead of Jacob Maschhoff who finished second in the age group with an 88.
