July 23

A Washington County Deputy responded to Ashley, IL for a domestic battery.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to rural Nashville for reported domestic trouble.

A Washington County deputy responded to a report of a broken power pole in Richview.

A Washington County deputy responded to a report of a broken power pole in Richview. Ameren was notified that they needed to respond.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office conducted a motorist assisted on State Route 15 near Lakeshore Lane.

July 21

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to Ashley, IL for a report of criminal damage to property.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to rural Richview, IL for a report of a motorcycle hitting a dog when it ran onto the roadway. The driver of the motorcycle was identified as James E. Turner, 62, of Richview, IL. The passenger on the motorcycle was identified as Melody Kay Turner, 52, of Richview, IL. There were no injuries reported on scene.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to Interstate 64 for a report of a motorist assist.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to Hoyleton for a report of Suspicious Activity.

July 20

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took a report of Found Property in rural Nashville. Owner of the property contacted the Sheriff’s Office and their property was returned.

Natasha J. Simmons, 39, of Cahokia, IL was arrested on an outstanding Washington County arrest warrant. Simmons was transported from the St. Clair County Jail by a Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to Interstate 64 near the 36 mile marker for a report of debris in the roadway.

July 18

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to assist a motorist on State Route 15 near Beaucoup.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious vehicle in rural Okawville.

July 16

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took a report of an Abandoned Vehicle on County Highway 27 near Robin Road.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a missing person from the Covington area.

The Washington County Sheriffs’ Office reported Suspicious Activity on US Hwy 51 north of Irvington, IL.

July 15

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle accident just east of Ashley. A vehicle driven by Jonathan L. Jablonski, 53, of Ashley, IL struck a deer causing the vehicle to lose control and roll over into a ditch. Minor injuries were reported.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Ashley for a Welfare Check.

July 14

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to Road Ranger, Okawville, IL for a report of a single vehicle accident. The vehicle struck a concrete pole in the parking lot when the driver, Rogelio Cecilio-Perez, 37, of Warner Robbins, GA turned to sharply and the vehicle side swiped the pole. There were no injuries reported in the accident.

July 13

Nicholas T. Harre, 27 of Nashville, was driving a 2014 Hyundai on Van Buren Road near Nixon Road, when the vehicle left the roadway and struck the ditch. Harre was cited by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office conducted a motorist assist on U.S. Highway 51 near Interstate 64.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to Interstate 64 near the 43 mile marker for a report of a motorist assist.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department took a complaint of suspicious activity on Cattle Pen Road in Okawville Illinois.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to 12095 State Route 15 in Nashville, Illinois in regards to animal neglect.

Trentyn D. Louvier-Gibson, 19, of Centralia, IL turned himself in to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office to be held on an outstanding warrant out of Pike County.

July 12

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office conducted a motorist assist on U.S. 51 near Interstate 64.

A Washington County Deputy spoke with a resident of rural Hoyleton regarding a phone scam.

Tab Sanders, 29 of Swansea Illinois, was arrested for a Washington County warrant by a Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy.

July 11

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Matthew A. Peters, 34, of Centralia, IL for Aggravated Domestic Battery. Matthew was also arrested for Resisting a Peace Officer and Disorderly Conduct.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jose Zurita, 27 of Nashville, IL for No Valid Driver’s License and issued a citation for speeding.

David Hibbs Jr., 27 of Peoria Illinois was arrested for a Washington County warrant by a Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy.
