1st Annual Amy Center 5K Run/Walk And Outdoor Yoga

The Amy Center’s 1st Annual 5K Run/Walk and Outdoor Yoga event will take place on August 5. The event will take place at Mt. Vernon Outland Airport in Mt. Vernon.

Early registration for the 5K Run/Walk costs $25, and it costs $30 to register for the 5K Run/Walk the day of the event. The 5K Run/Walk is scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m.

The Kids Fun Run is scheduled to begin at 8:15 a.m. Pre-registration for the Kids Fun Run costs $10, while the day of the event it will cost $15.

Breathe and Bend Hot Yoga will conduct a Yoga/Meditation session, from 9 to 10 a.m. The cost of the Yoga/Meditation session will be $10. Yoga participants should bring their own mat and water.

Registration/Packet pick-up will take place the day of the event beginning at 6 a.m and running til 7:15 p.m. Only pre-registered runners are guaranteed a t-shirt.

Awards will be presented at 8:30 a.m. The Overall Male and Overall Female Award for the 5K Run will receive an award as well as a $20 gift card to RoadID.com.

The top three runners (male and female) in the following age groups will also receive awards: 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, and Masters 50+. All pre-registered youths for the fun run will receive an award.
