Street oiling in town will be August 10. Starting Thursday Dalman’s Disposal will be the new trash company in town.

Ashley Marketplace has new hours. The market is now open 7 am to 7 pm seven a week. Stop in and shop the Ashley Marketplace.

Ashley United Methodist Church services with Pastor Randy Burwell is every Sunday morning at 10:45 am.

The 50 + gang meets the 1st Thursday of every month at 6pm at the Methodist Church for a potluck meal. Everyone’s welcome.

Lantern Pub specials every Tuesday night age 60 plus dine in only and receive 10% off. Wednesday and Sunday all you can eat Fried Chicken. Thursday night is kids night.

Remember stressed spelled backwards is dessert always eat your dessert first.

The Lantern Pub has J.T’s Karaoke and DJ for every Saturday night 6 pm until 10 pm.

City council meetings are the third Monday of every month at 7 pm. If you have questions make plans to attend and get involved in your community.

School starts back August 14.Wow where did the summer go? Remember the school can always use extra hand sanitizer, tissues and Clorox wipes if your out shopping.

I hope everyone continued to collect box tops, plastic lids and soda tabs over the summer. Be sure to send them to school with the kids.
