The NCHS Class of 1947 met at Little Nashville on July 12, 2017 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of their graduation. Nine class members, guests and spouses attended.
Following a delicious lunch, letters were read from several classmates unable to attend. A moment of silence was held for the 23 classmates known to be deceased.
The group was treated to a tour of the local L. & N. Railroad Depot in Nashville, with Elaine Rucker as our host and guide. The depot has been recently rebuild and completely restored by the local Historical Society. Everyone seemed to have memories of the quaint old depot and trains that came through along with memories to share.
It was decided to meet again next year on the second Wednesday after the 4th of July. It will be on July 18, 2018 at 11:00 at Little Nashville.
