VanDeveer Earns Scholarship To SIU Carbondale
Emily VanDeveer of Scheller is the recipient of a Dean’s Transfer Scholarship at Southern Illinois University Carbondale for the fall 2017 semester. Scholarships are based on academic merit and potential for superior achievement in college.
VanDeveer, a 2015 graduate of Waltonville High School, graduated from Rend Lake College. She is the daughter of Christy and Dusty VanDeveer of Scheller. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Pi, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and achieved the President’s List Honors all four semesters at Rend Lake College with a 4.0 GPA.
VanDeveer plans to major in health care management at SIU Carbondale.
