Mobile Market Back In Nashville Starting August 15 – U of I Extension News, August 9, 2017

The Mobile Market will provide free produce, dairy and other perishable food items for local residents on August 15 at 10 a.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds Commercial Building in Nashville.

There is no income verification to receive items. Participants are asked to bring their own bags and/or boxes to carry their food items home. Food will be distributed on a first come first served basis until everything is gone.

The Mobile Market comes to Nashville the third Tuesday of every month. Future dates are September 19, October 17, November 21, December 19, January 16 and February 20.

The Mobile Market is brought to Nashville through a cooperative effort by Washington County 4-H, Nashville FFA, and St. Louis Area Foodbank, with financial assistance from the Illinois 4-H Foundation. For more information, call the Washington County Extension Office at 618-327-8881.
