Kaskaskia College Hosts Health Careers Camp

Those attending were Alexis Enke (Centralia), Dakota Korzenewski (Centralia), Reagan Castleman (Centralia), Hunter Lurkins (Centralia), Selina Reynolds (Nashville), Tanner Kinkel (Greenville), Hope Payne (Greenville), Brandon King (Greenville), and Amy Troutt, Director of Student Engagement for Kaskaskia College.

Several students from the Kaskaskia College District attended the Health Careers Camp.

The camp was open to anyone interested in learning more about how to enter an allied health program and what jobs are available for graduates.

KC Programs that were explored included Respiratory Therapy, Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Physical Therapy Assistant, Nursing Careers, Dental Assisting, and Office Technology – medical options.

Students attending were able to meet with program faculty and tour the facilities of each program.
