Nicholas L. Bochantin

Mr. Nicholas L. Bochantin of Ashley, departed this life at his residence on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 10:45 P.M. He had attained the age of 87 years, 8 months and 15 days.

Mr. Bochantin was born on December 6, 1929 at Washington County, the son of Andrew and Agnes (Kuberski) Bochantin. He was united in marriage to Bernice Chlebowski on December 14, 1990 and she survives his passing.

Nicholas was a lifelong farmer and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom. He enjoyed working on lawn mowers, gardening, auctions and spending time with family and friends.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife Bernice Bochantin of Ashley; a son Charley Bochantin; a daughter, Patsy Bochantin; a brother, Oley Bochantin and wife Evelyn of DuBois; a sister, Clara Haynes of Waltonville; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Tommy, Clarence and Randy Bochantin and Andrew Bochantin in infancy and three sisters, Viola Pero, Emily Lynn and Marcella Sue Roznowski.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom, on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 10 A.M. with Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu officiating. Per the wishes of Nicholas and his family, cremation will be performed after the service. Burial of Ashes will be held at a later date at the St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery in Todds Mill.

Friends may call at the St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom, on Saturday from 8 A.M. until the service hour.

Should friends desire, mass offerings or memorials may be made to the Heartland Hospice or the American Cancer Society and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
