I have created a Richview Illinois Facebook page and I try to share things there as well. So check it out.

Republic Services is picking up trash in Richview. Please have your trash to the curb by 6 am on Wednesday if they miss you please call (618) 693-3164 and they will make every effort to service you as soon as possible.

Republic Services observes the following Holidays: 1. New Years Day 2. Memorial Day 3. Independence Day 4. Labor Day 5. Thanksgiving Day 6. Christmas Day. Trash collection will be delayed by one day following each holiday.

Richview Methodist Church women’s prayer and share is every Tuesday at 1:30 pm. Sunday morning services at 10 am with Pastor Dennis Gambill. Food pantry is the fourth Saturday of every month. Richview Methodist Church will be collecting school supplies again this year.

Oct. 14 there will be a benefit held for Pastor Dennis and Donna Gambill at The Cornerstone Methodist in Centralia make plans to attend. Questions feel free to contact me at 314 -0684

J.T’s Karaoke and Dj is at the Lantern Pub on Saturday Nights from 6 pm til 10 pm.

Shakes and Ladders sure has a lot of nice stuff and it’s reasonably priced. Check them out on Facebook.

Village Board meetings are the second Monday of every month at 6:30 pm. Make plans to attend if you have any questions or complaints.

Town wide garage sales will be September 8 and 9. Please call me at 314 -0684 to get on the list .

The Ashley Grade School can always use magic erasers, Chlorox wipes, hand sanitizer for the class rooms.

Please continue to save box tops , soda tabs and plastic caps for Ashley Grade School. If you have any of these items and don’t have a child in school feel free to call me or drop them off at my home. Ashley Grade School would like to wrap up the plastic lid collection this Fall. In addition to the lids, any plastic with the numbers 2,4,5 is also acceptable.
