Matthew Kozuszek

Mr. Matthew Kozuszek of Nashville, departed this life at his residence in Nashville on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 5:56 A.M. He had attained the age of 54 years, 8 months and 5 days.

Mr. Kozuszek was born on December 29, 1962 at Nashville, the son of Edmund and Rose (nee Kolbinger) Kozuszek.

Matthew was a graduate of Nashville Community High School and Kaskaskia College. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Europe during the first Gulf War. Matthew worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Left to mourn his passing is his brother, Alan Kozuszek of Nashville; sister, Barb Reidelberger and husband Gary of Tamaroa; his best friend, Rhonda Lammers of Breese; aunt, Inga Gajewski of Nashville; niece, Michele (Matthew) Printz and her husband Matthew of Alphaphetta, Ga.; nephew, Stuart (April Tellor) Reidelberger of Carbondale; Steven (Rhonda) Reidelberger of Pinckneyville; two great nephews, Lucas and Jayden; great niece, Willow; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per the wishes of Matthew, cremation was performed and a Memorial Service will be held at Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11 A.M. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Tamaroa.

Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 10 A.M. until the service hour.

Should friends desire, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
