Tax Bills Mailed

The Washington County Treasurer’s Office mailed the 2016 payable 2017 Real Estate tax bills on August 21, 2017. The total tax amount to collect is $22,933,846.08.

The tax bills have a new look because Washington County went to a new tax program/vendor. Please read your tax bill front and back side. If you have any questions, please call the phone numbers on the back of the tax bill.

The First Installment of taxes is due September 29, 2017 and the Second Installment of taxes is due November 15, 2017.

To avoid late penalty charges, your tax bill must be paid be each due date. The Installment due dates will be enforced. Postmarks will be honored.

Tax payments can be made by email, in person at the Treasurer’s Office in Courthouse, or online.

Also new this year, payment can be made online by credit card or e-Check. Use the County’s website/ Treasurer.
