Nashville Education Association Statement On Retirement Of Superintendent Ernie Fowler
Following the approval of a retirement agreement for Superintendent Ernie Fowler by the Nashville Community High School Board on the evening of Tuesday, September 26, The Nashville Education Association, the teachers’ union, released a statement:
“Mr. Fowler’s retirement as superintendent of NCHS will enable our school and community to begin the process of healing and moving forward. The Nashville Education Association will continue to work with all stakeholders within the school and community to uphold the integrity and outstanding reputation of NCHS, to mend any damaged relationships caused by recent events, and to provide the learning environment that our students deserve. We look forward to collaborating with the board to secure the next superintendent of NCHS, who embodies the values and shares the vision of our community.”
