NCHS Board Statement Following Approval Of Superintendent Fowler’s Retirement Agreement

The Board of Nashville Community High School District 99 approved a retirement agreement for Superintendent Ernie Fowler at a meeting held on Monday and Tuesday, September 25 and 26. While there was no official comments from the board at the meeting,  a brief statement was released by the board shortly after the meeting’s conclusion.

The statement reads:

“At the Board Meeting on September 25 and 26, 2017, the board accepted the resignation and retirement of Superintendent Ernie Fowler. The Board wants to thank Mr. Fowler for his service to District #99 since 2015. We wish him well in his retirement.

The Board is looking to secure an interim superintendent to help guide the district financially and legally.”
