Theresa Kellerman

Theresa Kellerman, age 88, of Pinckneyville, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 9:10 a.m. in her home.

Theresa was born on February 24, 1929 in Ashley, a daughter to Walter and Jo Anna (Janowski) Waier. On November 27, 1952, she married Milton “Sonny” Kellerman in Radom, and he preceded her in death on May 7, 2017. Theresa was a homemaker, member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, and the Catholic Daughters of America.

She loved playing pinochle, quilting, bowling and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her two sons, Michael Kellerman and Morris Kellerman, both of Pinckneyville; two daughters, Diane (Ruben) Davis of Pinckneyville, and Danette (Scott) Newberry of Islamorada, Fla.; one brother, Louis Waier; one sister-in-law, Florence Waier (wife of the late Albert Waier); two grandchildren, Derek and Taylor Beninati; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter in infancy, Amy Kellerman; three brothers, Raymond Waier, Edward Waier and Albert Waier; two sisters, Anne Dalman and Marie Winka; two brothers-in-law, Pete Winka and Leo Dalman; and one sister-in-law, Florence Waier (wife of Louis Waier).

Funeral services will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Father Augustine Ibezimako officiating. Interment will be in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery, Pinckneyville.

Friends may call at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Memorials may be made to St. Bruno Catholic School, Pinckneyville.
