Washington County Book In The Works – Family Histories Needed

Almost 10,000 brochures have been delivered to the Washington County Historical Society Museum describing the Washington County Bicentennial History and Families Book and encouraging and inviting everyone in the county to submit family histories and a photo.

The brochure includes sample family histories and tips for preparing a historical write-up within the 500 word limit. Your family history and photo are included free of charge in the book.

The brochure also lists people in the county who will help you prepare your family history.

The deadline for submitting your family history and ordering books during the pre-sale, when you can ensure you will get a book at its lowest price, has been set for November 15, 2017.
