Former Centralia Superintendent Thomas Hawkins Hired As NCHS Interim Superintendent
At special meeting of the Nashville Community High School board of education on Monday, October 2, Thomas Hawkins from Centralia was hired as the district’s Interim Superintendent.
Hawkins served as Superintendent of the Centralia City Schools District #135 from 2002-2009. After retirement he worked for the St. Clair County ROE in the Statewide System of Support Area V Coach and now is involved in the Illinois Center for School Improvement District Assistance.
Hawkins also served as an Interim Superintendent of Centralia City Schools.
Hawkins told the board that he is looking forward to working at Nashville High School District #99 and that his door is always open.
