NMS Cross Country Runs At Ashley Invitational
The Nashville Middle School Cross Country team competed at the Ashley Invitational on October 2. NMS came away with 10 medalists. The Nashville Middle School Cross Country team started October with the Ashley Invitational on October 2. NMS finished with ten medalists in the event.
In the JV Girls race, which consisted of 44 girls, Nashville finished with four medalists, all of whom finished inside the top ten. Lucy Walters won the race, followed by Olivia Verges in third, Shelby Thorson in eighth, and Aubrey Fernandez in tenth.
In the JV Boys race, Nashville finished with three medalists. Marcus Hunter finished second in the 64 athlete field. Brayden Hunter brought home third place, and Noah Szopinski finished seventh for Nashville.
Nashville had just one medalist in the Varsity girls race as Hailey Baugh finished second in the 22 runner field.
The final two medalists came from the Varsity boys race as Raymond Habeck was the first of the 38 runners across the line. The second medalist was Hayden Robinson in seventh place.
