Mr. Richard “Rich” W. Hug of Nashville, departed this life at the Washington County Hospital Emergency Room in Nashville on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 5:50 P.M. He had attained the age of 51 years, 9 months and 17 days.

Rich was born on December 30, 1965 at Nashville, the son of Vincent and Carol (nee Cameron) Hug. He was united in marriage to Regina “Gina” Vanetti on June 30, 1992 and she survives his passing.

Rich worked as a supervisor at Nascote Industries in Nashville, for many years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and a former member of the Nashville Jaycee’s. Rich enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, riding side-by-sides and he loved spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife Gina Hug of Nashville; two daughters, Nichole Grzechowiak and husband Nathan of Ashley, and Emily Hug and friend Anthony Kirgan of Nashville; two grandchildren, Madilynn and Makenna Grzechowiak; a brother, Randy Hug and wife Carla of Nashville; a sister, Ruth Cox and husband Bob of Nashville; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law, Dorothy Lunnemann, brother-in-law, Aaron Lunnemann and nephew, Stephen Hug.

Funeral services will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10 A.M. with Eric Cameron officiating. Interment will follow in the Ashley City Cemetery in Ashley.

Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville on Thursday from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Friday from 7:30 A.M. until the service hour.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Ashley City Cemetery and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
