Some members of St. Salvator were busy, busy busy making 1055 apple pies for their Annual Pie Sale Saturday. A big THANK YOU to all the workers and purchasers.
The Washington County U.C.C. Clergy met for lunch Wednesday noon at the Okawville Golf Course.
Decisions, decisions as Rosemary Koenigstein arrived at the home of Ora Mae Droege Wednesday morning for Girl’s Day Out. Ora Mae, Stanley and Steve were surprised as Ora Mae thought Girl’s Day Out was next week! So Ora Mae hurried to get ready where upon Sandy Epplin arrived. Much discussion before deciding on an event for the day. By then it was close to noon so lunch was the first stop of the day at O’Charley’s for free pie Wednesday. Then some Christmas shopping before returning home. A sign of old age for one.
Always exercise on Monday. This sets the psychological pattern for the rest of the week.
Relatives & friends attended a “Let’s toast the bride to be” bridal shower luncheon in honor of Rebecca Moran Saturday at noon in the Venedy Village Hall. Rebecca will become the bride of Garrett Wisher on Saturday, December 9th, at St. Salvator Lutheran Church in Venedy.

David Droege was on a mixed open team of 12 runners that competed in the Bourbon Chase 200 mile relay in Kentucky over the week-end. They finished 49th out of 245 teams in their division, 103rd out of 396 overall.
Some area residents attended St. Liborius Parish Wurstmarkt, Raffle & Shooting Match Sunday. The wurstmarkt season has begun.
