Ghost Trains At The Haunted Depot?

Did it scare ya? A ghastly display at the Historical Society’s Haunted Depot.

The Washington County Historical Society has been hard at work setting up their Haunted Depot, located at the L&N Depot in Nashville.

Is the train passenger, freight or specter?

The Haunted Depot will be open from 6 to 10 p.m., on Friday, October 27, and Saturday, October 28.

On Friday, The Nashville News will be there to get pictures of kids in costume. Bring the youngsters, it will be scary, but not TOO scary.

Spooky Checkers.

The admission price is $2 per person or $5 for a family (up to 5 people). There will be plenty of snacks and candy there too. There is no charge for Trick or Treat Photos.

On Sunday, October 29, the WCHS will also be opening up the McKelvey one-room schoolhouse, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Shadows, ghouls and ghosts.

The McKelvey School is located on the north side of State Route 15, approximately two miles west of Nashville.

Finally, the WCHS has announced that there is now a later deadline for submissions for the Washington County Family History book currently in being compiled. The new deadline is January 30, 2018.

Keep the submissions coming, the ones that have been received so far are looking great!
