I have created a Richview Illinois Facebook page and I try to share things happening in Richview.

Republic Services is picking up trash in Richview. Please have your trash to the curb by 6 a.m. on Wednesday if they miss you please call 618-693-3164 and they will make every effort to service you as soon as possible.

REPUBLIC Services observes the following Holidays 1.) New Years Day 2.) Memorial Day 3.) Independence Day 4.) Labor Day 5.)Thanksgiving Day 6.) Christmas Day. Trash collection will be delayed by one day following each holiday.

Richview Self Storage has units for rent Contact Bob Rokicki at 967-6337 for all your storage needs.

Richview Methodist Church women’s prayer and share is every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Sunday morning services at 10 a.m. Food pantry is the fourth Saturday of every month.

If you or someone you know needs a Fundraiser please contact Leslie at The Lantern Pub FUNDRAISER Nights are Monday’s from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday will be Senior Day. Wednesday and Sunday all you can eat Fried Chicken .Starting Thursday night’s in October will be a group appreciation night. Saturday nights is Family Karaoke Night with J.T’s Karaoke and DJ.

Shakes and Ladders has some new and used and repurposed items. Check out their Facebook page or stop in and shop.

VILLAGE Board meetings are the second Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. Make plans to attend if you have any questions or complaints.

Please continue to save box tops , soda tabs and plastic caps for Ashley Grade School. If you have any of these items and don’t have a child in school feel free to call me or drop them off at my home .Ashley Grade School would like to wrap up the plastic lid collection this Fall..In addition to the lids any plastic with the numbers 2,4,5 is also acceptable.

A.C.C is planning another painting class with Shut The Front Door November 18 at The Community Building in Ashley. Doors will open at 2:30 p.m. Concessions will be available and you may B.y.o.b. Please go to Shut The Front Door on Facebook and choose a design then call Melody at 314-0684 to preorder and pay for your design all orders are due November 2. Adults are $35.00 and kids are $18.00. This is a Fundraiser for A.C.C. You must pre order and make payment by November 4 to participate.

A.C.C meets the second Sunday of every month at 6 p.m. at the Ashley United Methodist Church everyone is welcome.

Ashley Library and A.C.C will be hosting a C.P. R class Nov 15 at 5 p.m. at the Ashley Library. Space is limited so please pre register and pre pay $5.00 at The Ashley Library or contact Melody Turner at 314-0684.Refreshments will be provided.
