District 49 Friday Call Home – November 3, 2017

The food drive sponsored by our Student Council continues through Thursday, November 9. Students are encouraged to bring in canned goods and non-perishable food items.

All items collected will be donated to the local BCMW. Please bring in your donations to the primary school foyer.

Kindergarten and First Grade Lego Club is Wednesday, November 8 in the middle school cafeteria, Lego Club is over at 4:00. Students must have written permission to attend.

There will be no phone calls home to confirm if a student is going to Lego Club. If your child does not return the permission slip or other written confirmation of attending, your child will go home as usual on this day. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Students who are registered to attend Jr. Hornets will be able to go to Jr. Hornets after Lego Club is over at 4:00.

There is no school on Friday, November 10 in honor of Veteran’s Day.

The Primary School Christmas Program will take place on Monday, December 4 at 1:00 and 7:00pm in the middle school gym. It’s an old west party!! If you are wondering about rounding up clothes for your child, please either dress your child in regular Christmas attire or get comfortable in a western flannel shirt and jeans. Either way, the kids will look great and the program is sure to be a hoot!!

Attached is information on basketball for first and second grade boys and girls to take place at Immanuel Lutheran School in Okawville.

Don’t forget to keep collecting Box Tops for Education, Coke codes, and plastic lids for our school.
