Mrs. Sandra Gaylord-Johannes of Ashley, departed this life on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 8:23 A.M Friendship Manor Health Care Center in Nashville. She had attained the age of 77 years, 4 months and 26 days.

Sandra was born on June 9, 1940 in St. Louis, Mo. The daughter of David and Opal (Schieble) Gaylord. She was united in marriage to Larry Johannes on September 4, 2004 at Radom, and he survives her passing.

Sandra worked at the Republic of Tea in Nashville, for 10 years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Mark’s United Church of Christ in DuBois, where she was involved with the Ladies Aid. Sandra loved to crochet, playing card games and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Left to mourn her passing is her husband Larry Johannes of Ashley; three children, Michele Brown and husband Greg of Collinsville, Daniel Partl of Petersburg, and Carolyn Musgrave and husband Curt of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two step daughters, Laura Henson of Buckner, and Jacquelyn Amberger and husband R.J. of Mooresville, Ind.; six grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Partl, Gabrielle and Brice Brown and Shealeigh and Ashleigh Musgrave; six step grandchildren, Rebecca and Joseph Henson and Jackson Johannes, Adalynn Flood and Remington and Barrett Amberger; a brother, David Gaylord of Oregon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Dale Gaylord; a sister, Esther Lysinger and a son John Partl.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11 A.M. at St. Mark’s United Church of Christ in DuBois, with Rev. Tom Ellison officiating. Interment will follow at the Chapel Hill Cemetery in DuBois.

Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley, on Thursday from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Friday from 7:30 A.M. until 9 A.M. and then at the church from 10 A.M. until the service hour.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the St. Mark’s United Church of Christ and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
